Went to the garden today after ignoring it for such a long time. Cort had kept up watering somewhat regularly but it was amazing to see it after some really hot sunny days. My eight foot sunflowers formed  a fortess protecting my veggies. Time to do some zucchini bakes and try my hand at pickling beans!

Get outta town

Whew, the summer has been busy with school and trying to stay on top of studying and work and all that jazz. We have hit midterms now, and although it has been going generally well, it has also been a little hectic and stressful.

Finally some nice summer weather has headed our direction. Off to the middle of nowhere-sunshine coast for some much needed city escape! Looking forward to being much more calm and centred upon my return. Also, Cort and I got a steal of a deal on a sleeping bag at Army and Navy, and I'm really excited to test 'er out.

Been craving s'mores for days now...

One Year

Celebrating one fabulous year together!

Had a great meal at The Sandbar restaurant on Granville Island and lots of room to stretch out in our king size bed! 

I love you so much Cort, and I can wait to see what year two brings!
